PRODUCT OVERVIEW
A re-imagining of a pickup worthy of the Motherbucker® name, the original Motherbuckers® were 3-coil monsters that required a special route and mounting ring to be installed. Today there are two pickup models that bear the Motherbucker® name and are made in the USA; they are the MM-MB-16k and MM-MB-20k.
The Motherbucker® 16k is a hot rodded overwound pickup powered by a fully charged Alnico 5 magnet. Bright leads and aggressive distorted rhythms when used in the bridge, but can also be used in the neck when combined with the ultra-hot Motherbucker® 20k in the bridge.
Like all Mighty Mite® humbuckers, the Motherbucker® 16k comes equipped with 4-conductor wiring for coil splitting and parallel options.
