Featuring a classic 3 ply parchment guard, this loaded guard will make a striking visual statement for your strat. However, the main attraction of this loaded guard are Fender's acclaimed "Texas Special" pickups. Featuring Alnico 5 flat pole staggered magnets that keep an even balance across all positions, yet are overwound to provide more "oomph" than your typical vintage strat pickup set. The 2 caps and resistor in tandem work so that when you turn down your tone control, you cut some low end while shaving off some highs at the same time, enhancing mids and keeping some presence when turning the knob below the halfway point.
