Originally featured on the American Vintage Hot Rod '52 Telecaster, this bridge combines a traditional nickel-plated steel bridge plate with three compensated brass barrel saddles. Unlike conventional three-saddle Telecaster bridges, each brass saddle features a movable section that allows for more precise individual string intonation without sacrificing the classic three-barrel design.
The movable sections accommodate the A, D, and high E strings and can be repositioned using a 0.050" hex key, while traditional Phillips-head intonation screws adjust the remaining three strings. Slotted saddle-height screws provide independent action adjustment for each saddle.
The bridge plate features a distinctive satin nickel finish with a polished front edge, complete with Fender's classic patent-pending stamp. Designed for traditional four-screw Telecaster mounting and string-through-body construction, this assembly is an excellent choice for vintage-inspired builds, restorations, and players seeking improved intonation from a classic Telecaster bridge.
