G&L Magnetic Field Design humbucker for 5-string L-series basses as used on US L-2500. This pickup is specifically wired for SCM (single coil mode) or K mod. With the usual hot MFD signal, the tone is beefy, with a broad spectrum. The bottom end is ground-shakingly tight and focused. A pair of these in an L- 2500 or ASAT Bass can run the gamut from P-Bass to J-Bass to Stingray to pure G&L. Average DC resistance of 9.6k. These pickups have a narrower 17.5mm string spacing for traditional G&L 5 string Saddle Lock bridges. Pickup is the same for both neck and bridge.
