The Scarlet and Scourge signature Mark Holcomb pickups were designed to cater to Periphery's shift into their reliance of amp-modeling technology. Similar to the original Alpha and Omega set, these pickups are very versatile and allow plenty of clarity under high gain and low tunings. Unlike the Omega, the Scourge was constructed with an Alnico 8 magnet providing a rich low end and a focused upper-mid spectrum while slightly reducing overall output to allow for an even clearer voicing. The Scarlet in the neck was constructed with a Ceramic magnet that has been voiced to offer crystal clear cleans and creamy mid gain tones.
