Product Description:
An iconic custom color on top, a whole other vintage Strat underneath.
This Reclaimed Fender Road Worn Strat Body from Ensenada, Mexico has been given a new lease on life with a custom Lake Placid Blue over 3-Tone Sunburst Finish-Over-Finish (FOF) treatment in aged Nitro Lacquer. Carefully distressed areas of the Lake Placid Blue topcoat reveal the black, red, amber, and natural tones of the 3-Tone Sunburst underneath, creating the layered appearance of a vintage Strat that was refinished long ago and then worn in through years of hard playing.
The classic cool of Lake Placid Blue pairs especially well with the warmth of the exposed Sunburst beneath. Larger areas of wear across the forearm contour and back are complemented by lacquer checking, chips, edge wear, scuffs, and smaller worn-through spots throughout the rest of the body, giving the finish real visual depth and character from every angle.
Underneath the aging is a traditional solid Alder Strat body featuring classic forearm and belly contours, three single-coil pickup routes, standard top-routed controls, and routing for a six-screw vintage-style tremolo.
At 4 lbs., this body offers a comfortable foundation for a classic Strat-style build without excessive weight.
Each Mighty Mite Reclaimed body is individually finished and distressed, making the wear pattern of every piece unique. What you see is what you get.
